Welcome everyone to my trip blog!
After saving, super planning and getting excited for four months, my dream trip is just nine short days away!!!
First background.... I am using my love of Disney parks as my gateway to the world. I am going on this super awesome trip with Matt, my roommate, best friend and guy I converted to a Disney fan on our three trips to Disney World. I am going some new places and he has never been out of the country, so it is sure to be an adventure!!!
The plan... Thirty five days of vacation awesomeness. None of which would be possible without a great many factors including:
- Cheap hostels and couchsurfers who are letting us stay with them (couchsurfing.org.)
- Working for an airline to lessen the huge flight costs.
- Gary in Orlando helping out so money spent on park tickets is just huge instead of out of control.
- My super parents who (although hesitant and concerned) are always supportive of my crazy life.
- Sept 2-Sept 5 Disneyland and Disney California Adventure.
- Sept 6-Sept 7 Sightseeing in Tokyo, trying to follow my Orlando friend Darryl's Super Tour!
- Sept 8-Sept 10 Tokyo Disneyland, Tokyo DisneySea, Cirque Du Soleil's Zed
- Sept 11-Sept 13 Hong Kong Sightseeing, Hong Kong Disneyland and Ocean Park
- Sept 14-Sept 16 Paris Sightseeing, Disneyland Paris, Walt Disney Studios Paris
- Sept 17 PortAventura, Spain's largest theme park
- Sept 18-Oct 2 Two week Disney Magic Transatlantic cruise from Barcelona to Florida
- Oct 2-Oct 6 DisneyWorld, Universal, Halloween Horror Nights. End the trip where my Disney love began with my brother and my Orlando friends.
- Oct 7 Back home in Madison, WI ending my journey by going to Wicked with a group of 30 people.
I am looking forward to sharing all my adventures, challenges and memories on this site. Hopefully it works out as well as I have planned!
